Blooloop spotlights the UK Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, built by ES Global in collaboration with WOO Architects. The structure uses a fully reusable, demountable system – the Global Modular System – designed for rapid assembly, minimal environmental impact, and future reuse. Described as “a bold showcase of British innovation, creativity and sustainability,” the pavilion’s pixelated aluminium façade draws on early programmable technology like textile punch cards, merging industrial heritage with a digital vision. Inside, a content-rich experience curated by Immersive International highlights the UK’s contributions to science, technology, and culture. With its lightweight foundation, relocatable components, and expressive architecture, the pavilion sets a new standard for sustainable, circular design at world expos.
