After their success at Tokyo 2020, climbing events were included in the Olympic competition for just the second time in Paris and were celebrated with an iconic venue.
With its distinctive design and thrilling competition programme, the Le Bourget Sport Climbing Venue emerged as a landmark structure during the 2024 Games.
Delivering exceptional experiences for athletes and spectators, Le Bourget’s design was led by WOO as part of the Paris 2024 Venue and Infrastructure team.
This instantly recognisable sporting destination featured five world-class climbing walls – an indoor wall for warming up and four temporary outdoor walls, with three for competition events (speed, bouldering, and lead combined) and the last one set aside for competitors to warm up on.
